On July 31, 2026, Pursuit proudly celebrates the 10th anniversary of the completion of the Pursuit Campaign, a cross-country bicycle journey that forever changed our organization and the lives of the people we serve. What began as an ambitious ride across America quickly became something much greater. It became a movement fueled by an incredible community of riders, volunteers, donors, advocates, families, sponsors, and friends who believed that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve every opportunity to live meaningful, connected lives.

Every mile pedaled represented a shared commitment. Every dollar raised brought us one step closer to a dream that once seemed impossible: creating a permanent home in Houston’s East End where people with IDD could learn, work, build relationships, and thrive.

Because of that collective effort, hundreds of individuals have found opportunities, community, and belonging on Pursuit's campus. The impact of the Pursuit Campaign continues to be felt every day, not only in the buildings that were made possible, but in the lives that have been transformed within them.

As we look back on this remarkable journey, we do so with deep gratitude. To everyone who helped make the journey possible: thank you. Your generosity, partnership, and unwavering belief created a lasting legacy that continues to shape the future of Pursuit and the people we proudly serve.

Ten years later, the ride may be over—but the pursuit continues.
