ABA-SkIP is an Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) day treatment program offered by The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD in partnership with The Harris County Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity. Designed for children ages 3-8 with autism spectrum disorders and developmental delays, the program focuses on improving language, motor, academic, and play skills through individualized therapy.
Services include:
One-on-One Therapy: Half-day sessions, five days a week (Mornings: 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM | Afternoons: 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM)
Comprehensive Support: Functional Behavior Assessments, individualized treatment plans, social skills training, toileting support, behavior management, and community/in-home services
Parent Training: Required training to help parents understand and apply ABA techniques for long-term success
Through personalized plans, we work to develop essential skills and reduce disruptive behaviors, empowering both children and their families.
