Rene Solis

Rene brings more than 35 years of leadership experience in human services, workforce development, and early childhood programs here in Texas. Most recently, he served as Chief Program Officer at BakerRipley, where he helped lead one of the largest human services portfolios in the state, supporting thousands of families each year. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for growing mission-driven organizations, strengthening operations, and developing programs that create real access and opportunity for the communities they serve.

What really stands out about Rene is his ability to connect strategy with impact. He has led large, complex, multi-site programs, expanded services into new regions, and built strong partnerships with community organizations, workforce boards, and public agencies. His work has consistently focused on improving outcomes for families and creating pathways to stability and economic mobility.

Rene is also deeply rooted in our community. He serves on several local boards, including UpSkill Houston and the Spring Branch Family Development Center, and is actively engaged in volunteer work across Houston. He is fluent in Spanish and brings a strong commitment to serving diverse communities with care and respect.
