Celebrating Employment Success

Our PursuitJOBS program hosted Embracing the Journey at the Houston Food Bank, an inspiring celebration honoring National Disability Employment Awareness Month. We gathered to recognize the remarkable employment achievements of every individual in our program, celebrating their progress, dedication, and the success stories that highlight why inclusive employment opportunities matter.
This milestone would not be possible without our valued community partners who support our mission every day: Educational Partners: Houston Independent School District, Alief Independent School District, and Katy Independent School District; Community & Business Partners: Creative Dreams Outreach Center, Friends of Down Syndrome, Houston Methodist, LAZ Parking, Kraftsmen Baking, Sloomoo Institute, Sodexo USA, Texas Technology Access Program, Texas Workforce Commission, and The Tuttle School.
We are especially grateful to Houston Methodist for underwriting this life-changing program, and to our special guests, the HUBCAPS, comedian Anesia Gordon, and Jennifer Dantzler, founder of Inspire ND, who made the celebration truly memorable.
Behind every success story is our dedicated PursuitJOBS staff, whose passion and commitment drive this mission forward each day. Together with our partners, we are building a more inclusive workforce, one opportunity at a time.
