Pursuit Center Leadership Update

Leadership Update:

Pursuit Center President & CEO Charles Njuguna will step down on May 22, 2026, and will support the organization through a smooth transition.

Damien Harris, VP of Programs, will serve as Acting President & CEO beginning May 23 while a national search—led by Korn Ferry, a global executive search firm—is conducted.

We’re deeply grateful for Charles’s leadership and the impact he’s made during his time with us. As we move forward, our mission remains strong. We’re excited to support Damien in this next chapter as we continue empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the greater Houston area.
